Ti4C-WxC initiative to reduce the CH4 emissions in BALI with the help of the Tourists and Tourism industry
In our Ti4C pilot program, your participation in our carbon offset project will help Balinese rice farmers adopt innovative methane reduction technologies that can cut CH4 emissions by 60 to 70%, reduce water consumption by up to 30%, and increase crop yields by 22%. This project, endorsed by experts and presented at global forums, offers a sustainable solution to offsetting CO2 emissions from tourism while lifting farmers out of poverty.
In Partnership with
Somya Pertiwi Foundation
Denpasar, Bali
Somya Pertiwi Foundation invites UNESCO-area Subak farmers to a CO2e reduction program. Farmers receive training to minimize field flooding and allow satellite monitoring. Post-harvest, yields are compared with traditional methods. The initiative aims to lower emissions with support from companies and tourists.
